Job Title: Radiologic Technologist / Medical Assistant (MA) Team Lead
Location: The Alpine Clinic, North Conway NH
Department: Orthopedics
Reports To: Practice Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-rays) in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
- Assist orthopedic providers with patient care, including rooming, vitals, documentation, and minor procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies in a clean and ready state.
- Supervise and support clinical staff, including scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and management to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Monitor compliance with infection control, HIPAA, OSHA, and radiology safety standards.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
Administrative Support:
- Collaborate with providers and administrative staff to optimize patient flow and clinic efficiency.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement programs.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering clinical supplies.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- ARRT certification and state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) or relevant clinical experience.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedics or a related specialty.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentation.
- Knowledge of orthopedic terminology and procedures.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced outpatient orthopedic clinic.
- Direct patient contact and exposure to radiologic equipment.
- Requires standing, walking, and lifting throughout the day.
