What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Client Service Representative (CSR) – Littleton Area Veterinary Urgent Care position at Littleton Area Veterinary Urgent Care?
Client Service Representative
Littleton Area Veterinary Urgent Care is a privately owned urgent care hospital in Littleton, NH. We’re looking for a Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team in our newly built, state-of-the-art hospital.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, takes pride in doing things well, and wants to be part of a team they can count on. Veterinary or medical reception experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates with at least two years of customer service experience who are ready to learn something new.
If you’re friendly, dependable, calm under pressure, and the kind of person who can greet someone with a smile even when the hospital is busy, we want to meet you.
Our days are busy, our cases are varied, and our CSR team plays an important role in keeping the hospital moving. You’ll be one of the first people our clients meet and an important part of their experience from the moment they walk through the door.
This position is about more than answering phones and checking clients in. We’re looking for someone who can communicate well, stay organized, notice what needs to be done, support their teammates, and remain compassionate when clients and their pets are having a difficult day.
You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. The job includes answering phones, scheduling, checking clients in and out, computer work, handling payments, communicating with the medical team, maintaining a clean and organized front desk and lobby, and helping wherever needed.
You’ll also need to be comfortable with long shifts, being on your feet, bending, lifting, cleaning, and the physical demands that come with working in a busy veterinary hospital.
Our Hospital Hours
Our normal hospital hours are:
- Monday–Friday: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
- Saturday–Sunday: 10:00 AM–10:00 PM
- Some holidays: Extended hours may apply
- Closed: Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day
Because of our urgent-care model, flexibility with evening, weekend, and holiday shifts is an important part of this position.
Most importantly, we’re looking for a people person. Someone who is approachable, friendly, patient, and able to handle stress without losing their professionalism or their sense of humor. Someone capable and dependable who wants to contribute to a strong team and takes pride in being the person others can count on.
Veterinary or medical reception experience is preferred, but urgent care experience is not required.
If you have a strong customer service background and the right attitude, we can teach you our workflow and help you learn the veterinary side of the front desk. What matters most is who you are, how you treat people, and the pets we care for.
There is also room for growth. We’re looking for someone who wants to develop their skills and, over time, has the opportunity to grow into a Lead CSR role with additional responsibility within our front-desk team.
Our independent and privately owned hospital is located in the heart of the White Mountains, where days off can mean hiking, skiing, exploring, or simply enjoying the natural beauty around us. We care about good medicine, good teamwork, continued learning, and building a workplace where great people want to stay.
If you’re looking for more than just another front-desk job, and want to be part of a team where your work genuinely matters we’d like to meet you.
Come join us and help take care of the people and pets who walk through our doors.
