Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Boutique Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and support daily store operations. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Assist customers with product selection, offering knowledgeable recommendations and upselling where appropriate
- Operate Shopify POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and properly labeled
- Manage stock levels by assisting with stocking shelves and inventory counts
- Support store operations by ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and inviting
- Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional etiquette and effective communication skills
- Assist in supervising or mentoring new team members when necessary
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in a grocery or specialty store environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math skills
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is desirable
- Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail transactions
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and enhance sales performance
- Knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial but not required
