Lead Preschool/Pre-K Teacher with bachelor's degree required

Position to start November 2026

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Littleminds Daycare is located in the Latham area and has been established for 30 years. We are in search of a Lead Preschool/Pre-K Teacher to join our team. This candidate will have a love for children and want nothing more than to help them grow, learn, laugh, feel safe, loved and be all that they can be.

Minimum educational and experience requirements for this position are as follows:

Experience leading a classroom and creating an environment that will bring out the curiosity and creativity of the children is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in early childhood, Child Development, or related field. Additional previous experience as a Lead Teacher is required.

Salary range is $23 - $24.00 per hour and will be based on interview and experience.

Sign on bonus of $1200. After a 90-day probationary period and positive review of work performance, you will receive $600 of your sign on bonus and benefits will include one-week paid vacation, 5 sick days, 5 personal days and these paid holidays, Thanksgiving, the Friday following Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Fourth of July and Labor Day and Columbus Day.

After another 90 days and a positive work review you will receive the other $600.

In addition to what is listed above and not limited to, you will be required to follow and implement regulations set forth by the Office of Children and Family Services, maintain the health and safety of the children in your care as well as all the other children within the Center, actively interact with the children both inside and outside, work with and guide the Assistants in your room to create a warm, safe and loving environment for the children. It is also required that you regularly work your scheduled hours, have reliable transportation, and assist in all daily cleaning.

We are a small, well established Center that is very family oriented that believe the staff is just as important to the company as the families we provied are care to. That is why we have such a low turnover when it comes to staff. Most staff have been with us anywhere from 3 - 13 years.
