Sr. Project Architect

Little
Orlando, FL Full Time
POSTED ON 12/3/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 2/3/2026

Little, nationally recognized as a “Best Firm to Work For” and one of the nation’s most progressive design firms, is seeking a Senior Project Architect with a passion impacting lives, for high quality healthcare design and a positive, collaborative work style, for our expanding Healthcare Studio in our Orlando, FL Office.

If you’re a healthcare architect looking for meaningful work and a team that values your voice and expertise, this is the place to grow. At Little, you’ll work across a spectrum of healthcare projects that impact lives and contribute to a healthy, collaborative team. Together, we advance healthcare design in thoughtful and responsible ways that elevate care environments.

A candidate we’ll love:

  • You build confidence with entire team through clear communication, professionalism, and strong healthcare experience.
  • You are disciplined in problem-solving - simplifying complex requirements, ask great questions, stay organized, and help lead teams to coordinated design solutions.
  • You bring technical strength — producing clear, coordinated, code-compliant documents, integrating medical equipment needs, and working seamlessly with A/E/C partners.
  • You design with people in mind, creating environments that elevate the patient, caregiver, and staff experience through best practices and creative solutions.
  • You seek effective solutions, stay open to evolving tools, and help teams maintain clarity and momentum through changing conditions.
  • You approach design responsibly, aiming for results that support long-term performance and community impact.
  • You bring positive energy and curiosity — contributing to a collaborative, healthy team culture and embracing the momentum around you.

A position you’ll love:

  • You’ll influence design direction, project strategy, and client engagement across all healthcare projects.
  • You’ll guide architectural and technical development — mentoring teammates, collaborating closely, and contributing as part of a coordinated team.
  • You’ll make a meaningful impact by applying healthcare knowledge, contributing creative insight, and partnering with clients and clinicians to align objectives and ensure project success. Like all of us, you’ll be accountable for that success.
  • You’ll grow with purpose — expanding your expertise and influence within a firm that values your judgment and invests in your development as a healthcare leader.
  • You’ll work with a team that values people as much as projects — one that brings positive energy, celebrates growth, and supports your professional journey.

Ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:

-         10 years in Architecture with substantial Acute Healthcare Experience, including at least 4 years with AHCA-regulated projects.

-         Architectural license required

-         Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited program

-         Excellent communication and documentation skills

-         Strong proficiency in relevant software: Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Products, Newforma, Bluebeam

-         Thorough knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building system, including engineering and medical equipment coordination

-         Thorough understanding of FGI Guidelines, Building Codes, and industry standards

-         Ability to travel
