What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher-PS/PreK position at Little Treasures Childcare and Learning Center?
We are seeking a caring, dependable and energetic Childcare Teacher to join our team!!
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children.
We are open Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:30 pm. No Weekends . Closed all major holidays!
Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required.
We are willing to train the right candidate who has a passion for working with children.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children.
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, playtime and rest periods.
- Support age-appropriate learning and developmental activities.
- Working cooperatively with staff and families
- Follow policies and state regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or higher in early childhood or elementary education (Not required)
- Criminal, Child Abuse, NSOR, and FBI clearances must be done (instructions given upon hire) and free of record.
Willing to work around a college class schedule.
