Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and versatile individual to join our team as a Bartender/Deckhand. This dynamic role combines the lively art of mixology with the hands-on responsibilities of maintaining and operating a vessel. As a key member of our crew, you will create memorable experiences for guests while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our boat. Your enthusiasm, mechanical aptitude, and customer service skills will drive the success of our hospitality adventures on the water.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, with precision and flair to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized bar area, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with boat rigging and mechanical checks to ensure vessel safety and readiness for daily operations
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, addressing their needs, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Support deckhand responsibilities such as assisting with docking, anchoring, line handling, and safety equipment management, no experience necessary
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or hospitality roles with excellent customer service skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to boat systems, rigging, or general maintenance is highly desirable-WILL TRAIN
- Ability to perform rigging tasks safely and efficiently under various weather conditions-WILL TRAIN
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and crew members
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Prior experience working on boats or in maritime environments is a plus but not mandatory
