Full-Time Position
Little Tot Day Care is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic EEC-qualified Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our team!
We are a small, welcoming child care center dedicated to providing children with a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn, grow, and feel loved and supported.
Position Responsibilities
The Infant/Toddler Teacher will:
- Provide warm, responsive, and attentive care to infants and toddlers
- Create and participate in age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and developmental needs
- Follow daily classroom routines, including meals, diapering, naps, and outdoor play
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Communicate positively and professionally with families
- Work cooperatively with fellow teachers and administration
- Follow all Massachusetts EEC regulations and center policies
- Complete required documentation and maintain children's daily records
- Provide consistent supervision and ensure children's health and safety at all times
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be EEC Teacher Qualified for Infant/Toddler
- Meet all Massachusetts EEC requirements for the position
- Be dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance
- Have a genuine love for working with infants and toddlers
- Be patient, nurturing, responsible, and able to work as part of a team
- Be willing to complete required professional development and trainings
- Successfully complete all required background record checks
Previous experience working in a licensed child care program is preferred.
