Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and early childhood development principles.
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods and other innovative teaching strategies.
- Manage classroom activities to foster positive behavior management and effective classroom management techniques.
- Support children with special education needs through early intervention strategies and individualized attention.
- Facilitate activities that encourage social interaction, creativity, and physical activity suitable for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that supports childcare best practices.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and practices.
- Experience in curriculum development tailored for early childhood education environments.
- Familiarity with working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers.
- Experience with TS Gold assessments used in early childhood education is a plus.
