Little Things Academy is looking for PT and Full time Professional Float Teacher for our facility in Walpole, Ma. Our mission is to take an organic approach to the childcare experience and to offer a child led education. Adopting a Reggio Emilia philosophy and coupling it with “nurture their nature” approach. We want to create a community of learners who are eager to absorb all that is around them, but also reflect and in doing so, desire to meet the needs of others.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Develop DAP learning program for young children.
Be authentic, natural, patient and kind when communicating with children.
Meets the needs of each child both emotionally and physically.
Develop activities that engage and stimulate children.
Design Classroom curriculum, Children’s Assessment Portfolio’s and complete progress Reports when due.
Promote Literacy in your early education environment.
Encourage children with expression and hugs.
Be flexible with daily routines and schedules to capture teachable moments.
Treat colleagues with dignity and respect.
Willingness to share all duties required for your classroom to run smoothly.
Must be able to complete all job duties as assigned.
Must pass all background checks required by DEEC.
EEC certified preferred
ECE degree or CDA preferred
One year Child Care experience preferred'
