What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farm Hand or Educator position at Little Sunshine's Farm?
Job Summary
I am looking for a Farm Hand who can help daily, or a Farm Educator if you have interest in early childhood education. This woud be a flexible job and you can pick days of the week per your availability.
Hours of work can range per day from half hour - 2 hours a day, depending on projects. I am new to owning chickens and am open to your suggestions!
The nature program will begin for early childhood education in December, so if you have any interest in that, it would be great to talk about that as well.
Farm Hand or Farm Educator responsibilities include:
- Chicken care
- Coop:
- Build / Predetor proofing
- Automating
- Upkeep
- Winterization
- Other tasks that may arise
- Egg collection & washing
- Education activities
- Holiday or farm decor!
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
