Child Care Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to foster their development through play, learning activities, and positive interactions. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support for children of various ages.

Duties

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
• Provide care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
• Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized space for children’s activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
• Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency procedures.

Experience

• Previous experience in childcare settings such as classrooms, babysitting, or nannying is preferred.
• Familiarity with early childhood education principles is a plus.
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies to support children's development.
• Certification in first aid or CPR is highly desirable.
• Experience caring for infants or young children is beneficial.
