What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Warm Water Swim Lessons Instructor - Waunakee position at Little Strokes Swim Academy?
Little Strokes Swim Academy in Waunakee has immediate and on-going openings for part-time Swim Lessons Instructors in our warm, 91° indoor pool. Swim coaching or competitive swim experience is required, as is a high school diploma. Classes are held during the following hours, with the majority of weekday lessons being taught between 9:00am-12:00pm and 3:00pm-7:30pm:
Sunday 8:00 am-2:00 pm
Monday 8:00 am-7:30 pm
Tuesday 8:00 am-7:30 pm
Wednesday 8:00 am-7:30 pm
Thursday 8:00 am-7:30 pm
Friday 8:00 am-7:30 pm
Saturday 8:00 am-1:00 pm
We are currently hiring for weekday (8:45am-12:15pm) weeknight (2:45pm-7:45pm) and weekend shifts (7:45am-1:15pm), but are open to creating a schedule that works for you even if it's outside of those hours! You can pick which days/hours you like, and you do not need to work the entire shift. You will work the same hours each week. Enjoy a flexible schedule and free snacks during your shift! The pay rate for the right candidate is $24-$30/hour.
The pool is located at 1029 Quinn Drive in Waunakee, just outside of Madison and a short drive from the UW, MATC, and Edgewood campuses. Reliable transportation is necessary, as public transportation does not reach Waunakee and the distance is too far to bike regularly. Children of employees receive free swim lessons.
Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
