About the Role

We're looking for a dedicated Behavioral Intervention Supervisor (BIS) to join our clinical team. In this role, you'll provide clinical supervision, oversee treatment planning, and help ensure continuity of care and positive outcomes for the clients we serve. You'll balance hands-on client work with staff supervision and program oversight, supporting a caseload of approximately 12 staff members while maintaining your own billable client services.

This is a great opportunity for a clinically-minded leader who enjoys mentoring staff, driving quality treatment outcomes, and playing a central role in program operations.

What You'll Do

  • Provide clinical supervision and oversight to a team of approximately 12 Behavioral Intervention Specialists, Technicians, and Professionals
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 billable hours per week through treatment plan development, staff coverage, or direct client care
  • Develop and update client treatment plans (ACTPs), including measurable goals and intervention protocols, at an average of one per week
  • Conduct a minimum of 6 supervision field contacts per week, ensuring each staff member receives supervision at least twice monthly
  • Perform direct observations of staff implementing treatment plans, with parents/caregivers present, at least once per month per employee
  • Communicate regularly with client families regarding treatment progress and any staffing changes
  • Onboard new staff and coordinate shadowing for new patient assignments
  • Monitor staff productivity and billable hour compliance
  • Develop and manage Employee Performance Plans; address training needs, corrective actions, and performance concerns
  • Represent your team in weekly supervisor meetings, reporting on productivity, outcomes, and staffing needs
  • Review daily data submissions for accuracy and compliance, and maintain client documentation and files
  • Ensure continuity of client care during staff absences and coordinate transitions when needed

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a closely related field
  • Minimum of 1,200 hours of relevant experience providing and implementing behavioral interventions for individuals with functional or behavioral needs (through degree programs, supervised coursework, or formal training)
  • Ability to pass a criminal history and background check
  • Willingness to complete at least 24 hours of continuing education annually
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance for client transportation as needed
  • Current, age-appropriate CPR and First Aid certification

Why Join Us

  • Structured schedule with dedicated time for both client care and supervisory work
  • Opportunity to mentor and develop a team while staying connected to hands-on clinical practice
  • Supportive leadership structure with regular collaboration through supervisor meetings
  • Meaningful work directly impacting client outcomes and family satisfaction
  • Ongoing professional development and continuing education support

Note: This role may include school-based supervisory responsibilities depending on assignment, which involve supervising school-based staff, conducting monthly in-school supervision, and coordinating school credentialing requirements.
