To thrive in this role, you’ll need at least one year of experience in a dental office, along with strong skills in patient relations, scheduling, and dental terminology. Knowledge of dental software is required, and Eaglesoft experience is a plus. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, great communication skills, and a heart for patient care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients, update all necessary patient information and verify insurance.
- Have knowledge with insurance verifications and claims.
- Answer phones, maintain schedules, answer inquiries about procedures, cost, and insurance.
- Check out patients, collect out-of-pocket cost, and schedule next visits.
- Confirm appointments, communicate with patients via phone, email and text message utilizing Patient Management software.
- Present treatment plans to patients, effectively communicate financing options and insurance benefits coverage.
- Respond to records requests appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Contact patients to schedule outstanding or overdue treatment.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and handle the pressure of a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a positive, can-do attitude!
Skills:
- 1 Year of Dental Experience
- Eaglesoft knowledge a plus!
- Open to cross training to support our teamwork focused office approach.
- Effective time management skills and able to support a steady office flow.
- Able to be flexible and multi-task to meet the needs of a busy schedule.
- Must have outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Welcoming and patient personality with an ability to build rapport with others easily.
- Great attention to detail and follow through.
- Dental terminology knowledge and ability to communicate with patients effectively
