Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities and equipment are well-maintained, safe, and operational. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge base, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties

  • Performing highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment
  • Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performing scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
  • Completing simple machinist duties and responsibilities
  • Able to execute mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines
  • Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and making adjustments
  • Fulfilling regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
  • Performing a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions
  • Detecting faulty operations and defective material and reporting those and any unusual situations to proper supervision

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus
  • Four or more years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some HVAC experience and vacuum furnace experience, preferred
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
