Job Title: Head Teacher (Full-Time or Part-Time)
About the Role:
A well-established private preschool and daycare center is seeking an approachable, focused, and team-oriented Head Teacher for a Full-Time or Part-Time position. This role reports directly to the Preschool Director and actively participates in weekly and monthly leadership meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily classroom activities, team building, and mentorship.
- Ensure strict adherence to all NJ State regulations for Child Care Centers.
- Build strong rapport and maintain positive relationships with parents, children, and staff members.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with at least 1 to 2 year of management/supervisory experience, OR a Master’s degree in Education or Business.
- State Licensing Knowledge: Must be well-versed in NJ State Child Care Center regulations.
- Key Skills: Excellent leadership, and relationship-management abilities.
- Commute: Ideal candidate lives within a 30-minute commute of the center.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time (Half-Time) available.
- Pay: Competitive, based on experience.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
