Little Scholars Early Learning Center – Lakewood, WA
$28 - $34 per hour | Full-Time
Little Scholars Early Learning Center is seeking an experienced Center Director to lead our program through Early Achievers and the National Accreditation Commission for Early learning Leader (NAC) process while maintaining a high-quality, nurturing environment for children, families, and staff.
This role is a unique opportunity for a director who has accreditation experience and is looking for a manageable center size, a supportive ownership team, and meaningful leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all center operations (staff, enrollment, compliance)
- Oversee and complete accreditation requirements for Early Achievers and NAC
- Mentor and support teaching staff to meet accreditation standards.
- Communicate professionally with families and staff
- Support classroom quality and overall center organization
- Touring and enrolling new families
Qualifications
- Experience as a Center Director or Assistant Director in licensed childcare setting
- Direct experience with accreditation (NAC, NAEYC, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of licensing, compliance, and classroom standards.
- Proven leadership and staff development experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Background in improving program quality and enrollment growth
Pay & Benefits
$28 –$34 per hour, depending on experience and education
