What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pizza Maker & Kitchen Helper position at Little Rossa - Pizzeria & Espresso Bar?
Overview
We are looking for hardworking individuals who want to learn what it's like to work in a kitchen. This is an entry-level role and a great opportunity for an individual who is excited to learn more about a potential career in culinary.
Duties
- Open pizza dough, making sure pizzas are sized and shaped properly
- Read tickets accurately
- Memorize pizza toppings (once you get started this doesn't take long!)
- Add toppings to pizzas
- Launch pizzas into the ovens
- Slice, label, and organize pizzas for dine-in, takeout, and delivery
- Washing dishes
- Be willing to learn, we are willing to train!
Requirements
- Must be 16 years old to apply
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Willing to adhere to safe handling of food and proper sanitition practices
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Willingness to learn and a positive attitude
- Ability to pick up new skills quickly
- Proficiency in English
