Full time Monday-Friday
Hours- 10:00am-6:00pm
Responsibilities
- Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and physical development for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children
- Provide attentive care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment aligned with childcare standards and regulations
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns
- Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions and discipline when necessary
- Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any signs of abuse or neglect
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Valid certifications in First Aid and CPR to ensure immediate response in emergencies
- Strong child supervision skills with the ability to manage multiple children effectively
- Experience in activity planning tailored to children's developmental stages
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration
- Classroom or daycare experience is preferred; babysitting or nannying experience is also beneficial
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and behavior management strategies
