Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery and industrial equipment and must have his own Tools. This role is critical in ensuring that our equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, paving machines, and loaders.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using industry-standard tools and techniques.
- Conduct repairs on hydraulics, and other critical systems.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed on equipment.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and service technicians to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on or around heavy machinery.
Skills
- Proficient in automotive repair techniques relevant to industrial machinery.
- Ability to operate various power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience working with industrial equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
