Duties
- Operate POS systems such as Toast to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Manage customer orders with friendly service, upselling products to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Handle cash register operations, processing cash transactions and giving accurate change
- Assist customers with food service inquiries, product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Skills
- Proven experience in food handling or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast for retail sales transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple customer orders during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing inventory counts
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining a clean workspace at all times
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
