Position Overview:
We are seeking a caring, dependable, and motivated Infant Room Assistant Lead Teacher to support the daily operations of our infant classroom. This role works closely with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Provide attentive, responsive care to meet each child's individual needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Follow all licensing regulations and center policies
- Step into a leadership role when the Lead Teacher is absent
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, patient, and nurturing demeanor
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to obtain state required certifications and maintain
