Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA / LBA)

Overview
Little River Autism Services provides high-quality care and support to autistic children and their families. We specialize in ABA early intervention therapy, specifically for children ages 2-7, to promote positive behavioral development, communication skills, adaptive skills, and play skills. Our team of clinicians works closely with families and other professionals to create an inclusive and supportive environment. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated BCBA to join our team and support our mission.

As a BCBA at Little River Autism Service, you will be responsible for conducting assessments (VB-MAPP, ABBLS-R, etc), writing individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and overseeing the implementation of treatment plan goals by behavior technicians and RBTs. BCBAs meet with caregivers bi-weekly to provide updates, review caregiver priorities and concerns, and provide training to caregivers on ABA strategies and technicians. BCBAs work closely with clients and their families to ensure consistent, high-quality care to ensure treatment delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Analysis: Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), skill assessments (VB-MAPP, ABBLS-R, etc), and other evaluations to identify client needs and create personalized treatment plans (e.g. FAST/QABF, ESSA, Preference Assessments, etc.).
• Program Development: Design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results and ensure that these plans are tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client and their family.
• Assent-Based Programing: Develop reinforcement based teaching procedures that include ensuring learners are happy, relaxed, and engaged. Ensuring learners are able to practice new skills in manageable steps, in the least restrictive manner possible.
• Supervision and Training: Provide supervision, mentorship, and training to behavior technicians, RBTs, and Senior Therapists, ensuring they are implementing interventions effectively and with fidelity. Includes assistance with on-boarding new staff, and on-going supervision requirements for RBTs.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Oversee and ensure accurate and consistent data collection on client behavior, progress, and response to interventions. Use data to make informed decisions and adjust treatment plans as necessary. BCBAs will become fluent with the Central Reach platform.
• Parent and Caregiver Collaboration: Using BST, train and support parents and caregivers in implementing behavior strategies at the clinic and across environments. Ensure caregivers are empowered to reinforce skills and manage behaviors independently.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly review client progress, make data-driven decisions, and update treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued improvement. To ensure progress and regular monitoring, BCBAs will provide supervision for a minimum of 6.25% of each client's scheduled hours.
• Collaboration: Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team with other professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators, to coordinate service delivery and ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, session notes, and other required paperwork in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Compliance: Ensure all services comply with relevant regulatory, ethical, and legal guidelines, including those set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's degree in applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
• Certification/Licensure: Current Minnesota state licensure (LBA) and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
• Experience: Preferred candidates will have 2 years of experience providing ABA services as a BCBA, including experience in conducting assessments and designing individualized behavior intervention plans.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in using ABA data collection software and tools
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of others
• Ability to manage a caseload of 8-10 clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Preference for applicants to be familiar with Central Reach (or similar data collection platform), Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word platforms.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
