Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and supervision for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Assist with daily activities such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and age-appropriate play
- Support classroom management by organizing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment
- Engage children with educational activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, language development, and social interaction
- Collaborate with lead teachers to implement curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Observe and document developmental milestones and behavioral changes to inform ongoing care strategies
- Support the overall functioning of the classroom by assisting with administrative tasks and helping with other duties as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in infant care
- Certification in First Aid and CPR required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus
- Strong understanding of classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving techniques
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience for working with young children
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including mornings or afternoons as scheduled

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
