Responsibilities for Infant Teacher
- Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants in his/her care
- Give bottles to infants as provided by parents
- Feed infants' solid foods as age appropriate and provided by parents
- Change diapers as needed
- Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them
- Supervise infants on the floor and during tummy time as they play with age appropriate toys
- Put infants in cribs for nap time
- Read books to the infants
- Provide an enriching, interactive environment
- Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean
- Record daily information into app
- Perform observations, assessments and parent conferences
- Qualifications for Infant Teacher
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Caring individual who enjoys teaching young children
- High School Diploma/GED minimum
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Extended periods of time sitting on the floor
- Ability to work a shift in between 6:00 am _ 5:30 pm that changes weekly
- Reliable transportation to the Child Care center
- Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
