Schedule: 12-hour 2-2-3 non-rotating schedule; this position is for night shift shift 6:00 pm to 6:00 am

Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies while maintaining a clean and orderly work area
- Willingness and flexibility to work overtime on short notice including emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment that may involve all days of the week
- Perform various skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, machining, and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments as needed
- Perform regular preventative maintenance routes on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment, as needed, to perform the jobs as needed
- Participate in continuous education and training, as needed, to remain competent in all areas of the maintenance field.
- All other assignments assigned by management. This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and may not necessarily comprise all the "essential functions" for purposes of the ADA.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and physical
- High school diploma/GED required
- Technical Degree in mechanical, trades, or documented training within areas of maintenance, or Journeyman status preferred.
- 3 -5 Years experience in manufacturing environment with focus on electrical or mechanical work. Maintenance experience on converting equipment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand electrical components, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams drives and PLC’s.
- Able to run basic machine shop, fabrication equipment and hand tools
- Self-motivated, but also able to work as an effective team member
- Physical Requirements:
- Perform heavy work, defined as ability to lift up to 100 lb maximum with help, with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Work around fast-moving machinery
- Walk/stand, bending, stooping, working with hands majority of the time
