Job Description
Little Racers Learning Center is seeking a Childcare Center Director Assistant/Lead Teacher to join our licensed childcare facility in Grandy, North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic leader who is passionate about early childhood education.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess preferabbly a Bachlors degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field, along with administrative coursework and experience in a licensed childcare facility.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center in accordance with our early childhood philosophy.
- Act as a sales advocate for the center and effectively drive enrollment growth by focusing on new enrollments, conducting tours, engaging in marketing efforts, and fostering community relationships.
- Build strong relationships with prospective and currently enrolled families, establishing positive partnerships by serving as a resource and responding to questions and concerns.
- Develop and nurture staff through ongoing observations, training, coaching, and embedded professional development opportunities.
- Demonstrate flexibility by assuming the job duties of absent staff members as needed.
- Physically engage with small children, which includes sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs as part of daily activities.
- Be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and meet all physical requirements of the role.
