Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various areas including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents on their child's development.
- Engage children in play-based learning activities that enhance their understanding of the world around them.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Provide first aid and care as needed, ensuring the health and safety of all children in your care.
- Support children with special education needs by adapting lessons to meet individual requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience in daycare or childcare settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
