What are the responsibilities and job description for the Little Pond Farmers' Market Crew position at Little Pond Organic Farm?
Little Pond Farm is hiring for our market team again! We have a few positions open and are looking for folks who are passionate about sustainability, local food, organic farming and community to join us. We grow, harvest and sell hundreds of varieties of herbs, greens, root vegetables, fruiting crops, and flowers to the public at the Saint Petersburg Saturday Morning Market every Saturday from October through May.
We are currently hiring for the upcoming season which spans October 2026 through May 2027. Shifts occur every Saturday from 6:30 am - 2:30 pm (we require working three out of four of the shifts per month). We are looking for folks who thrive in a fast-paced work environment, love working outdoors, are team players, reliable and friendly, and able to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly. While not required, bonus experience includes past professional experience with a restaruant, grocery store, outdoors, at a fitness/yoga studio, a farm or the like. This is a super fun job with crew coming back year after year! We strive to create a diverse, fun, respectful, and friendly work team and we are so excited for the upcoming harvest season. Pay starts at $16 / hr. plus a weekly stipend of two grocery bags filled with organic produce and flowers from our booth, shopped for by you during market.
