Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Design, implement, and supervise applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs that promote positive behavior change and skill acquisition.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data on client progress to inform treatment modifications and ensure effective outcomes.
- Provide training, supervision, and ongoing support to behavior technicians and team members delivering direct services.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and facilitate consistent implementation of interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral health records, and treatment notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in intake assessments, treatment planning meetings, and progress reviews to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Experience
- Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Demonstrated experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, data collection methods, and behavior intervention techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical records management.
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations within behavioral health or special education settings.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
- Prior experience in patient care environments emphasizing patience, empathy, and professional integrity.
