- Supervise children and students in various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement
- Lead engaging activities such as arts and crafts, sports, theater, or tutoring sessions tailored to different age groups
- Implement early childhood education principles and support individualized learning plans for children with special needs or requiring extra assistance
- Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play, adhering to childcare and daycare standards
- Respond promptly to emergencies using first aid skills when necessary, following safety protocols diligently
- Collaborate with team members, parents, and guardians to communicate progress and address any concerns or special requirements
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive atmosphere
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education practices
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, babysitting, or tutoring environments
- Ability to apply behavior management techniques effectively and compassionately
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain training prior to start date
- Familiarity with special education needs and inclusive teaching strategies
