The Position:
We're looking for a Line Inspector for our second shift which is 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday. The pay starts at $17 an hour, plus a 5% shift premium for the second shift.

Requirements:
Experience with attribute and variable gaging, including micrometers.
Technical knowledge of machining process a plus.
Formal training and/or previous experience as a machine shop inspector is a plus.
Three to five years of experience in the quality control field is a plus.
ASQ certified a plus.
Background in GD&T a plus.
Responsibilities:
Follow controlled documents issued when performing inspections. Inspect all listed characteristics to specifications, using gaging methods established.
Provide equality support to production by responding to inspection needs that arise and communicating results in a timely manner
Ability to explain the inspection and gaging methods to machine operators
Perform firearms QAPS and other sort activities/inspections as needed.
Physical Demands:
Normal manufacturing plant environment which may include exposure to dust, industrial solvents, liquids, and other materials. The working environment can extend to both hot and cold conditions. Must be capable of wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) necessary to comply with government and company safety standards. Job includes tasks that require standing, bending, lifting materials weighing up to 50 lbs., twisting, gripping, and maybe some stair climbing.
