Overview
The Summer Coordinator Assistant supports the planning, organization, and oversight of summer programs and activities. This role helps ensure programs run smoothly, participants stay engaged, and staff are supported throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and scheduling daily and weekly activities
- Support supervision of staff and coordination of volunteers
- Communicate with participants, families, and team members
- Help manage supplies, registrations, and program logistics
- Ensure safety rules and procedures are followed
- Resolve issues and provide general support during programs
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with youth programs or event coordination preferred
- Flexible, reliable, and able to handle a fast-paced environment
