Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. This role involves leading classroom activities, developing curriculum, and supporting the diverse needs of students, including those with autism and other developmental challenges.

Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education principles.
• Educate students in various subjects, including math, physical education, and child welfare.
• Utilize behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Conduct standardized testing and assessments to monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to support early intervention strategies for children with special needs.
• Foster an inclusive environment that respects the diverse backgrounds of all students.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom conducive to learning.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to assistant teachers and support staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children, particularly those with autism or developmental delays.
• Strong knowledge of child welfare practices and early intervention strategies.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and standardized testing processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
• A genuine passion for educating young children and supporting their growth.
