Role Description The Teacher at Little Miracles Daycare is a full-time, on-site role located in Mountlake Terrace, WA. This role involves planning and leading daily educational activities, lessons, and play-based learning experiences that support children’s development. The Teacher will supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being, maintain a clean and organized classroom, and support positive behavior through guidance and encouragement. Responsibilities include communicating with families about their child’s progress, collaborating with other staff on curriculum and events, and documenting observations to inform lesson planning. The Teacher will also participate in staff meetings and ongoing training to meet licensing and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching to support early childhood learning and development.
- Ability to design and implement age-appropriate Lesson Planning aligned with developmental milestones.
- Clear and empathetic Communication skills for interactions with children, families, and colleagues.
- Experience in Training or mentoring, including guiding assistant teachers or support staff.
- Prior experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting.
- Knowledge of basic child safety, health, and hygiene practices in a group care environment.
- Patience, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy classroom setting.
- Relevant coursework or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
