What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at LITTLE MASA COLLEGETOWN?
Open kitchen station according to checklists
Prepare ingredients according to preplists.
Prepare short orders in a timely manner.
Communicate and collaborate with other chefs.
Inventory deliveries.
Organize and clean stations.
Preferred experience:
- Knife skills
- Sauté or cooking over a strong gas flame
- Operating a deep fryer
- Tempura/batter frying
- Dishwashing/general cleaning experience
- Ability to lift 50lbs bag of rice
- Resilience in a hot and busy commercial kitchen environment
We are willing to teach somebody that is looking to enter the culinary industry.
Required availability Monday - Thursday 10am - 4pm.
