Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Execute cooking tasks with attention to detail, following recipes and maintaining consistent quality in every dish.
- Station Management: Effectively manage your assigned station, ensuring all ingredients are prepared and ready for service.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate orders, maintain a smooth flow of service, and uphold our commitment to efficiency.
- Quality Control: Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process and make adjustments as needed to meet Little Mama's standards.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following proper sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, demonstrating flexibility and agility during peak service times.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A passion for delivering high-quality, authentic Italian dishes.
- Has at least two years of experience in a high-volume kitchen preparation and cooking
- Has good communication skills
- Is comfortable standing for 8 hour shifts
- Can lift up to 50 pounds
- Has the flexibility to work weekends and some holidays
- Has experience in quality food production, presentation, service, and sanitation
- Has an advanced understanding of professional cooking, knife handling skills, and a voracious appetite for knowledge
