Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, flexible, optimistic and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the developmental needs of students.
Duties
- Implement curriculum that meets the educational standards and caters to the diverse needs of students.
- Create lesson plans that promote literacy education, math skills, and physical education.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support for students with special education needs and early intervention strategies.
- Foster communication with parents regarding child welfare and progress through regular updates and meetings.
- Conduct standardized testing and assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Engage in behavior management practices to support positive interactions among students.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom conducive to learning, including toddler care when necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices in teaching methodologies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in preschool or daycare environments.
- Background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom experience is essential.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and behavior management strategies is highly desirable.
- Experience in tutoring or providing additional academic support is a plus.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff members.
