Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Daycare Staff to join our Little Lights Daycare Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers and school aged. This role involves supporting children's developmental needs through educational activities, caregiving, and classroom management. Candidates with experience in childhood development, special education, or working with children with disabilities are encouraged to apply. Looking For: Schedule
Monday to Friday 8:00 - 4:30PM
Wednesday to Saturday 1:00PM - 8:00PM

Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Support children's social-emotional development through positive behavior management
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and needs
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and licensing requirements
- Utilize classroom management techniques to foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere
- Provide first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive educational experience for children
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Experience with infants, toddlers, or children with special needs is advantageous
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques
- Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus but not required; training may be provided for the right candidate
- Experience working with children with disabilities or in special education settings is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young children and support their individual needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
