Job Summary
Little Lights Childcare is seeking passionate and dedicated Pre-K Teachers to join our faith-based childcare program. The ideal candidate will have a love for working with young children and a heart for supporting their growth in a nurturing, safe, Christian-centered learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
- Create a safe, loving, and structured classroom environment
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Incorporate faith-based values and age-appropriate Bible lessons into daily activities
- Maintain open and positive communication with parents and staff
- Observe and document children's progress and development
- Ensure classroom follows all health, safety, and licensing standards
Qualifications
- Experience working with preschool-aged children
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework or related experience preferred
- Passion for early childhood education and faith-based learning
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Must pass required Virginia background checks
