JOB TITLE: Behavioral Health Technician

JOB TYPE: Full-time hourly

JOB SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (typical range 7:45am – 4:15pm)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Redka Behavior Services is a Behavioral Health (IBHS) provider in Williamsport, PA. RBS will implement ABA treatment in a clinic environment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder ages 2-6 years old. RBS is looking for dedicated, passionate individuals to work at the Autism center in the Behavioral Health Technician role. BHTs will work directly with children at the center as part of a larger treatment team. RBS Autism Center makes meaningful improvements in children's lives and places emphasis on having positive work environment and culture for their staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Work one-on-one or in a small group (as per clients' Written Orders) throughout the day with a child aged 1.5-6 years old with Autism Spectrum Disorder

· Follow treatment plan interventions to build communication and independence skills while putting strategies in place for behaviors for decrease

· Play Engage in fun activities with your assigned client as part of a larger group including play, art and music, sensory activities, and more.

· Table work teaching sessions to increase skills and learning to prepare clients to attend school or function in their least restrictive, natural environments

· Track data and write daily progress note about client's day at the center and obtain signatures on Encounter Forms for services delivered

· Meet weekly with BHT Supervisor to discuss client's treatment and develop ongoing professional knowledge within the field of ABA

· Attend and complete training and continuing education through provided professional development opportunities

· Occasionally work outside of center hours at events held for clients and the community at or outside of the facility

· Perform daily tasks to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the center

· Perform other duties relevant to Redka Behavior Services not listed above as directed by supervisors/directors/executives

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Required education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; or Associate's Degree; or Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred Certification: Registered Behavior Technician or BCaBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
• Preferred Experience working with children or in a behavioral health field
• Required: Ability to obtain Act 33 clearances, Criminal History and FBI Act 73 clearance; valid driver's license; trainings as noted in 55 PA Code Chapter 5240 IBHS regulations

· BA/BC, BHT Supervisor (Lead/Mentor BHT), Clinical Director, Executives
