Little Learners Childcare Center LLC is a family owned and operated childcare center specializing in providing early education for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. As we continue to expand, we are looking for energetic, passionate and dependable individuals with a strong desire to teach our little learners and make a difference every day!
Currently we are hiring Assistant Teachers for our brand new location in Waterford! We have immediate openings in our Infant, Toddler, Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms where our teachers are working in a structured environment and following a play-based curriculum.
Qualifications for our Teachers include:
- Prior childcare or daycare experience is preferred, but we are willing to train!
- CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to obtain
- Basic computer skills to assist with projects and daily logging of child’s information
- Ability to engage in physical activity and lift up to 30lbs. when needed
- Familiar with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Meet background check requirements with fingerprint clearance
- Strong communication and instructional skills
- Dependable and flexible with a strong work ethic
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent multi-tasking ability
- Child Development Associate Certification is a plus, but not required
- Degree or Courses Completed in Early Childhood Education are a plus, but not required
Compensation:
- Rate of pay is based on level of education and experience in the field of early childhood
