Here at Little Learners, we specialize in early education for children ages 6 weeks up to 12 years old while providing a true home away from home for our children and our staff. Our program involves following a structured daily routine and a play-based curriculum while having a ton of fun! We have immediate openings for Lead Teachers in our Infant, Toddler, Early Preschool, Preschool and Pre-K classrooms. These are full-time, permanent opportunities with an excellent benefits package and plenty of room for professional growth.
Qualifications for our Teachers include:
- Prior experience as a Lead Teacher in a Childcare Center or Daycare
- Educational requirements: Minimum 12 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or child related field with 960 hours of experience and 3 semester hours of Infant/Toddler development and care practices
- CPR and First Aid Certification; or willingness to obtain or recertify
- Basic computer skills to assist with projects and daily logging of child’s information
- Ability to engage in physical activity and lift up to 30lbs. when needed
- Familiar with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Meet background check requirements with fingerprint clearance
- Strong communication and instructional skills
- Dependable and flexible with a strong work ethic
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent multi-tasking ability
Compensation:
- Rate of pay is based on level of education and experience in the field of early childhood
