Currently, we have openings for Lead GSRP Teachers and GSRP Associate Teachers at our Lapeer and Metamora childcare centers. In these positions, you will have the opportunity to prepare children for Kindergarten by teaching lifelong lessons that allow them to develop confidence and thrive through multi-sensory learning experiences. These are full-time, permanent opportunities with an excellent benefits package and plenty of room for professional growth.

Qualifications for GSRP Lead Teachers include:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Lead Teacher, preferably in a GSRP Program
• Must have one of the following education requirements: 1) Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development with a Specialization in Preschool Teaching; or 2) Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate along with a ZA and ZS, Birth-K, or PK-3 Endorsement; or 3) Willing to meet approved compliance plan while completing the above listed education
• Strong understanding of child development and principles of early childhood
• Meet background check requirements with fingerprint clearance
• Reliable attendance, performance and physical ability to do the job
• Basic computer skills to provide daily logging of child’s information
• Excellent attention to detail in planning and assessing educational activities
• Effective oral and written communication, organizational and instructional skills
• Familiar with safety and sanitation guidelines for the classroom

Qualifications for GSRP Associate Teachers include:

• Prior experience as a PreK or Preschool Teacher, preferably in a GSRP Program
• Must have one of the following education requirements: 1) Associate Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or the equivalent; or 2) Valid Center-Based Preschool CDA; or 3) Currently pursuing education and willing to meet approved compliance plan
• Strong understanding of child development and principles of early childhood education
• Meet background check requirements with fingerprint clearance
• Reliable attendance, performance, and physical ability to do the job
• Basic computer skills to provide daily logging of child’s information
• Excellent attention to detail in planning and assessing educational activities
• Effective oral and written communication, organizational and instructional skills
• Familiar with safety and sanitation guidelines for the classroom

Compensation:

• Rate of pay is based on level of education and experience in the field of early childhood
