Duties
- Support the lead caregiver in implementing daily activities that promote childhood development, including play, learning, and social interaction.
- Assist with supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety at all times.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Engage with children through age-appropriate teaching methods, including reading stories, arts and crafts, and educational games.
- Support behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and emotional well-being among children.
- Assist with basic caregiving tasks such as diapering, feeding, and comforting children as needed.
- Follow all licensing regulations and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. As well as creating curriculums, daily activities, daily circle time.
- Computer Skills
- Certification in first aid and CPR for infants and toddlers.
- EEC Licensed Family Child Care Certification for 10 kids.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle multiple children effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, lead caregivers, and team members.
- Bilingual speaking ( English & Spanish)
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
