Part-Time Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating and nurturing children in a classroom setting. We follow the Rutherford County School Schedule and do not work when they are closed, making this an Perfect part-time job for Mothers. This is for Tuesday and Thursday 8:15 to 2:15. Substitute opportunities on Monday and Wednesday. The starting pay is $13.50 an hour and include discounted tuition for your children enrolled in our program.
Responsibilities
- Educate and inspire students in various subjects
- Implement behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment
- Provide literacy education to enhance students' reading and writing skills
- Care for toddlers and ensure their safety and well-being
- Utilize daycare and childcare best practices to support children's development
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Incorporate physical education activities into the curriculum
- Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment
- Ensure child welfare and safety at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in teaching or childcare is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques
- Knowledge of child development principles
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
