Job Summary
We are a Christian child care center seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners. Duties
- Design and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum focusing on early intervention, literacy education, and foundational skills in math and physical education.
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote social-emotional development, behavior management, and positive interactions among children.
- Oversee classroom management to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment aligned with best practices in childhood development and childcare standards.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about each child's progress, milestones, and any special education needs.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality instruction and consistent classroom routines.
- Maintain detailed records of student development, lesson plans, and behavioral observations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting, particularly with toddlers or preschool-age children.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and early intervention techniques.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education programs.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
- Classroom management expertise combined with the ability to foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
