Responsibilities:
- Deliver packages to customers' homes or businesses while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service standards.
- Verify delivery details, and document all deliveries accurately.
- Manage route driving effectively, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain vehicle safety and compliance.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes.
- Slice produce for the line in order to make sandwiches.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries politely and professionally.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
- Comfortable performing heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with moving packages.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission vehicles is desirable.
