Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating educational technology and instructional modifications for diverse learners
- Deliver instruction across multiple subjects including literacy, math, early childhood education, physical education, and recreational therapy
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress, behavioral health, and educational goals
- Incorporate learning technology and instructional design principles to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children or students with disabilities in classroom settings or early intervention programs
- Strong communication skills for effective parent collaboration and team coordination
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices including behavioral management for students with special needs and autism spectrum disorder
- Experience integrating educational technology tools into lesson planning and classroom instruction
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while fostering an inclusive environment for all learners
- Certification or training in speech therapy, behavioral therapy, or related therapeutic approaches is a plus
